PDI Technician
Job Description
PDI TechnicianLocation: Derby
Salary: up to £33,200 basic per annum plus bonus
Hours: Monday to Friday, Saturday on rota

We are seeking a skilled and experienced PDI Technician to join our client’s main dealership in Derby. The ideal candidate will have a passion for cars and a commitment to delivering high-quality work.

PDI Technician responsibilities:
• Carry out vehicle maintenance and repair
• Utilising your technical knowledge
• Testing, diagnosing, and resolving faults
• Working on electrical and mechanical systems
• Inspecting components for wear and tear
• Repairing and replacing parts
• Checking vehicle subsystems
• Supporting other Technicians in the Workshop
• Helpful skills and qualifications
PDI Technician requirements:
• NVQ Level 2 or 3 Light Vehicle Maintenance & Repair equivalent or higher
• At least 1 year of experience as a vehicle technician
• Ability to use modern diagnostic equipment
• Strong problem-solving skills
• Valid driver's license
• MOT licence would be advantageous but not essential
